FYI

Dear Parents,

.  Our Trip to the Buehler Challenger Space Center at Bergen Community College was a big hit.  We have prepared for several weeks for a simulation mission to the moon and the students were well prepared.  They were totally engaged in the hands-on  activities needed for their mission which was to dock on the moon and set up a lunar colony.  They had applied for a specific job and were then assigned to either be mission control or astronauts in the space craft.  They then switched roles midway through the mission.  It was a great day and I hope to have pictures posted very soon.

Well, we are into the final leg of the school year.  It has gone too quickly.  The kids are starting to get spring fever as we all are.  I want to keep them focused as we have some important lessons still yet to do.  We will do our best.  Thank you to all who brought in tissues and paper towels.  We go through so many in a week.

Looking forward to a nice long Memorial Day weekend!!

Mrs. Hodges

Please send in tissues and paper towels.  We are running very low and the demand is high.  Thanks!

Linda Hodges
