St. Peter Academy is a co-sponsored elementary school which provides an education which not only offers quality academic programs, but also instructions in the belief and traditions of our Catholic faith.  This faith community affirms that Jesus Christ and His message of salvation is central to the life and vitality of the school.  We believe that our primary function is to follow the invitation of Christ to live His Work, worship as a faith community and serve the needs of others.  At the Academy, students celebrate the  Word and Worship through reflection, scriptural study, daily prayer, and the preparation and celebration of meaningful liturgies. We strive to provide a balanced program whereby we meet the many needs of our students while developing all facets of the learning process.  The faculty views its responsibility as educators not only in the acquisition of knowledge, but in the development of spiritual, intellectual, physical, social and personal attributes.  With the basic skills of foundation, students are encouraged to develop problem-solving techniques, systematic methods of research, critical thinking and an appreciation of the arts. It is our belief that the attainment of knowledge is not an end in itself; rather, it is a means to better oneself and ultimately the world in which one lives.

A MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

St. Peter, a vital part of the co-sponsored parish communities, is called to educate the child spiritually, intellectually, socially, and physically in an atmosphere enlivened by the Gospel spirit of freedom and charity. Our ministry is committed to to a value oriented education as a framework for life and quality educational programs which will adequately prepare the individual for society.

We are proud and privileged to cooperate with our parents in fostering the growth of the whole child.  We graduate students who are academically well-rounded, strong in faith and values and ready to face the challenges of higher education.

The formation of Catholic leaders for the 21st century is our ultimate goal!
